Chief Master Sergeant Craig Recker is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 37th Training Wing, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He is the primary advisor to the commander on all matters affecting the quality, welfare, morale, management, and leadership of 9,700 enlisted personnel. He assists the installation commander in ensuring the success of four primary training missions graduating more than 86,000 students annually. The Wing encompasses 19 wing staff agencies and more than 70 associate units comprising more than 45,000 personnel, to include nine geographical locations throughout the United States.
Chief Recker grew up in West Point, Nebraska and entered the Air Force in June 1984. His background includes diverse duties within the Personnel career field and the Group Superintendent CEM. Before arriving at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, Chief Recker served as the Command Chief, 15th Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
