Chief Master Sgt. David Flores

Chief Master Sergeant David Flores is the Squadron Superintendent for the 436th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Dover AFB. In this capacity he leads the readiness and mission focus effort for 18 assigned C-5M aircraft, valued at $4.8 Billion Dollars in support of local flying operations and 618 AOC tasking’s. He also directs the maintenance activities for 302 active duty, civilian and air reserve technicians in six various AFSCs.

Chief Master Sergeant Flores reported to Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, for basic military training in O c t ober 1993 . His experience includes numerous duties in the maintenance career field and various leadership roles at the Squadron and Major Command Levels. Chief Flores previously served as C-5 aircraft, Weapon System Manager, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Maintenance Division Scott AFB, IL. In this capacity he advised the AMC Director of Logistics, Tanker Airlift Control Center and other staff agencies regarding issues that affected operations of the weapon system and was responsible for direct sustainment and logistics efforts of the C-5 fleet valued at $16 Billion dollars.

Additionally Chief Master Sergeant Flores has served as Dedicated and Flying Crew Chief for the KC-135R, VC-135, C-40B and HC-130P aircraft and has deployed in support of numerous contingency and combat operations to include SOUTHERN WATCH, NORTHERN WATCH, PROVIDE COMFORT, ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.
