Warhawk University

Like learning organizations across the nation, the 37th Training Wing has launched a framework for providing programs that support and enhance individual development and success. Officially launched in March 2021, Warhawk University is the door to a host of professional development and training opportunities available for all individuals assigned or affiliated with the Gateway Wing, to include mission partners from Joint Base San Antonio. Our goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment for individuals to grow professionally and personally. This page is designed to be a centralized hub for all developmental programs and resources for individuals, whether they are looking for a single course or interested in working toward earning a Warhawuk University program.

Warhawk University Learning Tracks Badging Program

Warhawk University supports competency development. We constructed our Learning Tracks around the Department of the Air Force Foundational Competencies that are categorized into four major domains: 1) Developing Self, 2) Developing Others, 3) Developing Ideas and 4) Developing Organizations.

What is digital badging?

Digital badges are an online visual representation of an accomplishment, skill, interest, or achievement. Digital badges communicate three things:

Who accomplished or achieved something?
What did they perform or achieve?
Who says they achieved or accomplished it?

Warhawk University digital badges, issued via the Badgr digital badging platform, contain metadata that allows anyone to understand the skills, knowledge, and actions taken to earn the badge.

The Warhawk University digital badging program currently awards certificate of achievement badges for completing the following Learning Tracks: Developing Self, Developing Others, Developing Ideas, and Developing Organizations. Learners can get more information and self-enroll into a learning track by clicking on the learning path graphic below.
