Colonel Rockie K Wilson

Col. Rockie K Wilson is the commander, 37th Training Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, the largest training wing in the U.S. Air Force, comprised of more than 24,000 students and permanent party Airmen. He leads the wing known as the "Gateway to the Air Force," consisting of three groups and one Inter-American Academy, that trains and educates approximately 44,000 joint and international students annually, to include all Department of Defense Military Working Dogs. Colonel Wilson has served in assignments in various locations including Saudi Arabia, Japan, Thailand, Iraq, and Afghanistan where he served as the Civil Affairs Engineering Team Leader on a Provincial Reconstruction Team planning, programming, and executing reconstruction projects in some of the most austere locations in Southern Afghanistan. He grew up in Colorado.
