More than 1,200 march in honor of fallen defenders

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-CAMP BULLIS, Texas -- Approximately 1,200 students and U.S. Air Force Defenders from the 343rd Training Squadron participated in the 13th Annual Fallen Defender Ruck Nov. 6, 2020, here.

The ruck honored the 186 fallen Security Forces, Security Police and Air Police members who made the ultimate sacrifice while performing their duties. The event gathered current technical training students and other service members and civilian partners for a 4.76-mile ruck around JBSA-Camp Bullis. The route consisted of various types of terrain elements such as dirt path, unpaved roads, and three hilltops.
