The 37th Training Group, with its approximately 1,600 personnel from all four military services, provides professional and technical training to more than 36,000 military members and civilians from the armed forces, federal agencies, and the international community.

The 37th Training Support Squadron provides outstanding training & support to technical training in order to achieve the Wing's "Training Standard of Excellence for the Department of Defense."

The 343rd Training Squadron  hosts the Air Force's Security Forces Training. Its training areas are housed on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland and JBSA-Camp Bullis, both located in the San Antonio area.

The 341st Training Squadron provides trained military working dogs and handlers for the Department of Defense, other government agencies and allies through training, logistical, veterinary support and research and development for security efforts worldwide. The 344th Training Squadron is an extremely diverse unit with a mission to provide technical training for more than 10,000 active duty, Reserve, Guard, international and civilian students annually in Career Enlisted Aviator, Vehicle Maintenance, Logistics Readiness Officer, Logistics Plans, Materiel Management, Contracting, Recruiting, Safety, Cryptologic, and TEMPEST courses.

The 342nd Training Squadron also has it’s distinguished history. Initially established as the 3270th technical training group on 30 April 1976, the unit underwent several reorganizations, until being redesignated as the 342nd training squadron on 1 April 1994. Prior to deactivation on 30 July 2016, the 342nd training squadron was the home to all air force special operations entry level training and advanced security forces skills. The squadron provided pararescue, combat control, survival evasion resistance and escape, tactical air control party and explosive ordnance disposal training in support of air force units worldwide. As of 01 august 2023 the 342nd training squadron has been reactivated.

The 345th Training Squadron trains, develops and educates technical training students into skilled graduates in the Services, Air Transportation, Hazardous Material Transportation School (HAZMAT) and Traffic Management Office career fields.
