37th TRW mourns loss of Warhawk

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- A U.S. Air Force Airman from the 37th Training Wing died at his off-base residence May 23. The Airman has been identified as Tech. Sgt. Terry J. Laker, Military Training Instructor, 319th Training Squadron.

Details surrounding the death are under investigation.

“We are deeply saddened by Sergeant Laker’s death. Our first priority at this time is to provide support for his family, friends and co-workers,” said Col. Rockie K. Wilson, 37th TRW commander. “We want to ensure those affected are provided appropriate helping agencies as needed.”
