Spring 2023 Invitational Drill Down
37th Training Wing Command Chief, Mike Morgan, calls out facing movements during the Spring 2023 Invitational Drill Down, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Mar. 11. Teams from the 81st Training Wing at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss.; 17 TRW at Goodfellow AFB, Texas, 82 TRW at Sheppard AFB, Texas, the 59 Medical Training Group at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas; and the 37 TRW participated. The teams performed a precision drill and exhibition routine. The event also featured a performance from the Fredericksburg High School Red Hotts dance team, the 341st Military Working Dogs and the University of Texas San Antonio Reserve Officer Training Corps presented the colors. The 82 TRW was awarded first place overall, followed by the 37 TRW placing second and the 81 TRW placed third. Chef Robert Irvine, renowned for his commitment to healthy living, serves a spread of nutritious dishes to more than 400 343rd Technical Training Airmen at a special dinner event aimed at promoting wellness and mindful eating. The Robert Irvine Foundation has been hosting “Breaking Bread with Military Heroes” at military installations across the country. Chef Irvine visits Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland
Two Airmen engage in a taste-testing session during a Chef Robert Irvine cooking demonstration at the Mesquite Dining Facility June 15. The demo gave Airmen practical tips on how to stay healthy and fit using ingredients readily available in installation commissaries. The chef called on members of the audience to taste-test various spices and seasonings and educated them on how to quickly make a healthy meal. The demo was part of a two-day event hosted by the 502nd Force Support Squadron and 37th Training Wing to reinforce the importance of physical fitness and overall well-being within the military.
