The 341st Training Squadron held its first military working dog expo on Nov. 18 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Squadron personnel spent the morning doing detection, obedience, and patrol demonstrations. They also had a weapons display from the 37th Training Support Squadron Combat Arms Training and Maintenance; foster and adoption information booths; and meet-and-greets with some dogs up for adoption. TEDx event connects community at JBSA-Lackland
Cultivating resiliency and making connections was the theme of TEDx Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Nov. 4. The event was the second one of its kind held on base. It brought together approximately 150 people with a mission to provoke thoughtful conversations.

Basic Military Training announces Thanksgiving Day plans
Community members line up to pick up their Airmen they hosted during Operation Home Cooking in November 2021. This year, residents of San Antonio who have an immediate family member in Basic Military Training or have a current Department of Defense ID card (active or retired) will have the opportunity to share Thanksgiving Day with a trainee.
