They attended the graduation as part of an annual tradition of Fiesta San Antonio, a 10-day celebration of military history to honor the life and memory of the members who died in the Battle of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Beginning in 1891 as a one-day parade event, Fiesta San Antonio has evolved into a 10-day festival celebrating the heritage and history of San Antonio and the vast military community.
