Capt. Rayna Dempsey, lead firefighter at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Station 4, decided on a career in firefighting early in life. She has been a firefighter since enlisting in the Air Force in 1992, and continued serving her country as a civilian firefighter at JBSA after her initial enlistment.
