DLIELC state-of-the-art labs give international students authentic experience

Instructor Kathleen Smith demonstrates to a student how to use the flight simulator at the Defense Language Institute English Language Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The flight simulator equipment can be used effectively with or without the virtual reality headset. The student will then go over a script to help them grow accustomed to flying while communicating solely in English. (U.S. Air Force photo by Spencer Berry)
