Enhanced integration helps create culture of dignity, respect

The first Airmen assigned to enhanced integrated flights graduated from Basic Military Training Jan. 13, 2022, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The 324th Training Squadron is the first BMT squadron to integrate men and women in all aspects of training, aside from hygiene and sleeping time. Enhanced integration recently resumed after COVID had delayed beta tests conducted in 2015 and 2019. (U.S. Air Force photo by Christa D’Andrea)
