MWD Program strengthens families and the force

Maxine Ababa, senior protocol specialist at the 37th Training Wing, and her son, Jordan, reunite with Military Working Dog AAbaba, Aug. 17, 2023. The MWD is named after her late husband and was fostered by the Ababa family through the 341st Training Squadron Foster Program. The 341 TRS executes the MWD training program for the Department of Defense and the MWD Foster Program is supported by volunteer families in the San Antonio and Austin areas who take in the pups for up to seven months.
