Cadell, 502nd ABW and JBSA Command Chief, sign the Military Saves Pledge to “Set A Goal. Make a Plan. Save Automatically.” Military Saves Week begins Monday and runs through Feb. 26 throughout JBSA. The pledge is a commitment to exercise good financial habits, improve financial readiness and encourage other Americans to do the same.
The Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Blood Donor Center collects blood, plasma and platelets for Veterans Affairs and military hospitals across the country. Anyone can donate; donations typically take about 45 minutes for blood, up to 1.5 hours for plasma, and two hours for platelets. The center is part of the 59th Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutics Squadron.

U.S. Air Force Airmen applaud Special Tactics Airmen as the ruck march on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Oct. 4. The march covers more than 812 miles before ending at Hurlburt Field, Florida, in memory of fallen comrades since Sept. 11, 2001. Each Airman carries a 50-pound ruck to bring awareness to the service and sacrifice of Special Tactics members.
