Unlike talent management and the assignment systems, the catalog aggregates all of these DSEs year-round so Airmen and Guardians interested in a possible position can future cast the prerequisites needed and have advance notice of openings.

    JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- The Inter-American Air Forces Academy leaders held their first partner nation visit with a top Peruvian Air Force officer Feb. 22. Maj. Gen. Jose Luis Barrios Espinosa, Assistant Defense and Air Attaché to the Embassy of Peru in Washington, D.C, joined IAAFA leaders in an effort to continue strengthening partnerships and expanding security cooperation between the U.S. and Peru.

    As part of Air Education and Training Command’s efforts to aggressively and cost-effectively modernize education and training, Airmen and Guardians can access the “myLearning” digital platform on the Air Force Portal beginning March 18, with the first phase consisting of a modernized and interactive training platform that allows Airmen to access training modules previously found on the Advanced Distributed Learning Service (ADLS).

    The Air Force has formally added “Digital Literacy” and “Fosters Inclusion” as Air Force foundational competencies, and both have been incorporated into the ‘Pathfinder 2021’ self-assessment tool in MyVector that allows Airmen to assess themselves and review resources to further their personal and professional development.
