Ten IAAFA, 837 TRS members completed a one week Air Advisor certification course, offered by the Air Advisor Flight, a division of the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Operations School (EOS) at joint Base McGuire –Dix-Lakehurst through a Distance Learning setting.

he Inter-American Air Forces Academy’s (IAAFA) unique mission to educate and training military personnel from eligible partner nations, in residence and abroad through Mobile Training Teams & Subject Matter Expert Exchange engagements. The Air Advisor Academics (AA A) course has broadened our members understanding and role IAAFA plays for the United States and Air Force in Latin America and the Caribbean.  IAAFA as whole is moving to have all its members to be, at a minimum, Basic Air Advisor qualified.

TSgt Tadeo Villarreal currently assigned as the Training Development Flight Chief and current Advance Air Advisor tab wearer, noticed the benefits of IAAFA's Instructors/members to receive the training.  Our members will be well versed in Building Partner Capabilities and Relations through our engagement with our Partnered Nations and allies, which is the objective our Combatant Commands.

TSgt Tadeo Villarreal engaged with the MSgt Luis Rodriguez, AAA Flight Chief Course Director, USAF Expeditionary Operations School, JBMDL, NJ, to have our members attend the course.

This is the first time in IAAFA’s history to have their own Air Advisors!
