Airman Saves Airman
Airman Antonio E. Lopez received the Air Force Achievement Medal for Outstanding Achievement, a Single Action Achievement Medal, Thursday, April 23 for performing the Heimlich maneuver, saving a fellow Airman’s life. Lopez, a Career Enlisted Aviator in technical training, was awarded the medal during a ceremony held in a hangar against the backdrop of a MODEL plane. All attendees wore masks and practiced social distancing as they honored their fellow servicemember.

Reserve military training instructors (MTI) are aligned under the 340th Flying Training Group, who is responsible for the 433rd TRS. The 433rd TRS is unique to Air Force Reserve Command as it is the only unit of reserve MTIs.
