  • 97 SFS receives female body armor

    Female Airmen of the 97th Security Forces Squadron received the first batch of newly created and issued Female Body Armor, in early March 2021. The FBA features increased mobility, load carriage support, and comfort while still maintaining coverage of vital organs. The new armor is one of the Air Force Chief of Staff’s initiatives and was created by the Female Fitment Program Office. Their mission is to identify problems and quickly find solutions for gear and uniform items to better equip female Airmen.
  • 343rd TRS Airmen soar in joint air operations

    JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-CAMP BULLIS, Texas – Airmen from the 343rd Training Squadron/Operating Location-A teamed with National Guard Soldiers and Air Force Reservists to strengthen their warfighting skills and joint partnerships with a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) exercise Jan. 9 and a sling load exercise Jan. 27.
  • Goodfellow members volunteer for Operation Blue Santa

    Goodfellow Security Forces members volunteered with the San Angelo Coalition of Police for the 13th Annual Operation Blue Santa Shop with a Cop at a local store in San Angelo, Dec. 12.
  • Air Force awards contract for improved Female Body Armor

    The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Female Fitment Program Office awarded a contract to begin production and development for body armor designed to better protect female Airmen during combat and contingency operations.
  • 37th TRW NCO earns FAPAC Uniformed Services Award

    Tech Sgt. Sarahlizamarie Pante-Berrios from the 37th Training Wing at JBSA-Lackland, Texas, was awarded the Uniformed Services Award for the Federal Asian Pacific American Council in recognition of her fostering harmonious relationships with Asian and Pacific Islander communities, exhibiting distinguished behavior, and being a leader in overcoming discrimination, promoting equal opportunity, and developing all members of the Civilian and Uniformed Services.
