The mission of the Battlefield Airmen Training Group, located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX, is to select, train, and mentor Airmen for global combat operations.  The BA TG directs Air Force initial skills and advanced Battlefield Airmen training for Pararescue, Combat Rescue Officer, Combat Control Teams, Special Tactics Officers, Special Operations Weather Teams, Tactical Air Control Party, and Air Liaison Officer career fields. BA TG breeds the Air Force’s quiet professionals, infused with a warrior ethos and fueled by scholarship and innovation. They drive human performance for tactical athletes.

350 BA TS

The 350 Battlefield Airmen Training Squadron, located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX, leads, trains, mentors, and develops BA candidates, (PJ, CCT, TACP, SOWT, CRO, STO, non-rated ALO), developing in them a warrior ethos through scholarship and innovation so they can meet the demands of advanced AFSC training, developing professional operators to drive innovation and air power in the joint environment, producing next generation warriors for tomorrow’s battlefield. In addition, the 350th BA TS directs operations & training events for all instructor proficiencies and qualification requirements. They also ensure cadre's proficiency.

352d BA TS

The 352 Battlefield Airmen Training Squadron, located at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina, leads, trains, mentors, and develops BA in the art of land warfare and austere drop zone skills providing initial qualification training to meet combatant command requirements.  The 352d BA TS is responsible for entry-level training for all Combat Control Teams (CCT) and Special Tactics Officers (STO). The unit is required to support CAF and AFSOC missions by developing BA to support core missions of both MAJCOMs. In addition, the 352d BA TS directs operations & training events for all instructor proficiencies and qualification requirements. They also ensure cadre's proficiency.

BA TG

Battlefield Airmen Training Group Detachment 1 provides direct support to all Air Force BA training. It provides curriculum, faculty development and military training leader program management for Pararescue, Combat Rescue Officer, Combat Control Teams, Special Tactics Officers, Special Operations Weather Teams, Tactical Air Control Party, and Air Liaison Officer training. BA TG Det 1 also manages contracts, facilities, and equipment for entire BA enterprise.

351st BA TS

The 351 Battlefield Airmen Training Squadron, located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, leads, trains, mentors, and develops BA in the art of land warfare and technical recovery skills providing initial qualification training to meet combatant command requirements.  The 351st BA TS is responsible for entry-level training for all Pararescuemen (PJs) and Combat Rescue Officers (CROs).  The unit is required to support Air Combat Command and Air Force Special Operations Command missions by developing BA to support core missions of both MAJCOMs. In addition, the 351st BA TS directs operations & training events for all instructor proficiencies and qualification requirements. They also ensure cadre's proficiency.

353d BA TS

The 353 Battlefield Airmen Training Squadron, located at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX, leads, trains, mentors, develops, provides initial skills training for 520 Tactical Air Control Party and Air Liaison Officer candidates in order to award a 3 skill level, and 60 TACP enlisted members to earn their 7 skill level. The 353d BA TS integrates close air support, airlift, reconnaissance and space assets into joint and combined battle plans in support of worldwide combatant commanders. In addition, the 353d BA TS directs operations & training events for all instructor proficiencies and qualification requirements. They also ensure cadre's proficiency.
