Chief Master Sergeant Yusef A. Saad is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Inter-American Air Forces Academy, JBSA Lackland, Texas. He is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the commandant on all matters of military readiness, morale, quality of life, professional development, and effective utilization of assigned personnel, international students, and academy operations. He is responsible for leading a selectively manned group providing technical and professional military education and training to international military forces, national police, and governmental agencies from Latin American countries, the Caribbean, and Afghanistan. These efforts directly support 21 partner nations by providing 1,068 annual courses. Chief Saad is also charged with leading Senior Enlisted Leader engagement opportunities and providing leadership and mentorship to Senior Noncommissioned Officers throughout the Western Hemisphere.
CMSgt Saad entered the Air Force in October 2001. He graduated from the Fuels Specialist Course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, in February 2002. He has held a variety of positions within the Fuels Specialist career field. His assignments have included bases in Korea, Italy, California, Georgia, Wake Island, Spain, Turkey and Guam. He has deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism, Operation SOUTHERN WATCH, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation JUKEBOX LOTUS, and numerous other contingency operations. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 36th Mission Support Group, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
